Technical information

In addition to conforming with water regulations, WRAS, Tapmagic products meet the specification requirements of Waterwise, Code for Sustainable Homes, ESPO and One Planet Products. Some have different needs for performance, environmental and ethical information. Please contact us for further information on flow rates, exact specs of materials used etc.

The Code for Sustainable Homes
The assessment rating used for taps can be accessed through our link. Quoting the paragraph relevant to Tapmagic: ์Where taps have a specified water break at the mid point of the flow, the flow rate can be taken as the maximum flow rate of the lower range before the water break.๎ 3 litres per minute is the break point of the Tapmagic dualflow units. For standard taps the rating is two thirds maximum flow through the tap; this can be as much as 15 litres per minute.

ESPO
For local authorities: we have submitted several of our products to an EC Compliant tender and been listed in ESPO's Catalogue for Sustainable Products and Services. (See our links to go direct to this guide.)

Waterwise
Waterwise is a UK NGO focused on decreasing water consumption in the UK, funded partly by the water industry. It is awards the Waterwise Marque annually to products which reduce water wastage or raise the awareness of water efficiency. Tapmagic was one of 15 winners in 2007. (See our links for more information.)
